I have seen Brocail scream into his glove in several of his appearances. The first guy I ever noticed doing this was John Rocker. In addition to breaking things in the dugout, it makes you look like a dumbass when you do this. To those coaching little leaguers, never ever allow a kid to behave this way.

At least he's not taking his glove to Marfrelas like Jose Lima used to.

-and if you're Dock Ellis, sometimes the glove screams back.

I believe my first glove screamer was Joaquin Andujar.

There is a difference between screaming into the glove and actually talking to it.
-
I recall Roger's getting tossed from a game by trying to scream THROUGH his glove once....

I seem to remember Qualls being a glove screamer.

He's probably screaming quite a bit today. The Red Sox just DFA'd him.

AT&T stock rose a point on the news.

I noticed Chris Sampson, out of all the people who I would expect to do this, scream a few curses into his glove after giving up a bomb in his start in Cincy. It is immature behavior but if it kills off steam and leaves all the emotions on the mound and out of the dugout doesn't it serve a good purpose?

In Sampson's case, screaming into his glove after giving up a dinger may result in terminal laryngitis.

Bunch of GMs are going to exceed their minutes.

Ironically he pitched shutout baseball for the next 5 innings of that game so it maybe helped?

no.

The glove screaming bit (and cursing on the field, in general) seems to be much worse this year. I suspect Brocail has something to do with it. I also suspect that Drayton will put the kibosh on it before long.

I hope so. That would be fucking huge.
