Title: Mitchell report hurting baseball?

Based on projections from current ticket sales,

“I think we’ll draw between 80 and 81 million this year, which is an amazing number,” baseball commissioner Bud Selig said....

Baseball is coming off a milestone year. The 30 teams drew 79.5 million fans in 2007, a record average of 32,785.

interesting point. its like taxes or gas prices and everyone raising hell they are too high and then doing nothing about it. everyone likes to gripe and complain (of course the posters of this site not included) about roid use then look in amazement as balls are crushed into the next time zone. untill somone falls dead on field or something horrible happens i think that fans will just keep on keeping on comming to the park

I got to admit, I'm not one for boycotting the game.  In fact, I've purchased more tickets at this point than I ever have.  (Yeah, I finally got involved in a season ticket group.)

I agree. The "game" is bigger than the sum of its parts.
