Is that anything like the Texaco Star Academic Rally...I was on that in high school...20 years ago...

Post by: drew corleone on March 04, 2008, 02:42:24 pm: Yeah, only by the time I was a senior (95), Texaco was no longer sponsoring it. In fact, I think that was the first year they didn't. It became the National Academic Championships, sans sponsor. But Chip Bell still ran it, as I believe he does to this day.

Those tournaments were a blast.

39 out of 42 as well. The two Harrisons and Warren Harding, whom I can't believe I forgot.

I wouldn't have remembered Millard Fillmore had it not been for that KIA commercial. Didn't realize KIA was going to play such a vital role in a random presidential quiz
