I'm going to go way out on a limb and speculate that Wiatrek is the surname of Annabelle's mother. My guess is that the name came from Poland.

Great limb to go out on.  My mom was a Wiatrek until she married my dad.  There are a couple of Wiatreks running around south of San Antonio.
