Livan Hernandez would be a nice signing. Freddy Garcia and Kris Benson more as gambles.

It'd be nice if we could get one or two of Benson, Lohse, Maroth or Livan. Although Livan being a type B probably makes it a long shot for the Astros, I think they intend on keeping all their picks AND signing them.

Benson could not hit 80 in his workout for scouts. why do you want him?

One word, two objects: tits.  There is no other explanation.

I imagine he's not at full strength yet. From the things I've read he wouldn't even be ready until May, at the latest June.

She's got so many STDs she'd infect the other teams wives simply by sitting in the same section.

Probably not McLane's idea of being a champion.

It would look like Cloverfield, with all the little parasites dripping off of the she-beast and attacking random bystanders...

The Astros wouldn't lose a pick for signing a type B, only if they signed a type A.

What are the ramifications of signing a type B? I was under the impression you lose a draft pick just not a sandwich pick between the 1st and 2nd round.

The only impact is for the team that LOST the type B FA.  They acquire a Sandwich pick, which I guess does impact everyone else, because they all are moved down one spot for each Sandwich pick acquired.

The team the signs another team's type B loses nothing but the money they have to pay the player they signed.
