That doesn't rise to the level of rumor.  The source is Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe.  He's out of his element writing about anything outside of Boston. 

"Speaking of Gagné, Boras will look for a closer job for him, but it might be difficult given his poor performance with the Sox. There's a possibility that he returns to Texas, or replaces Brad Lidge..."

There's many things wrong with considering this reporting.  But the major problem for the Astros is the word "Boras".
