Pence needs work in the field.

The Reds' announcers aren't spending a lot of time actually calling the game, but they looked up long enough to express a measure of astonishment on that play. Was it as goofy as they implied?

I don't think so he dove at it and missed it. But he sames slower out there

Thanks. I couldn't tell if the Reds' announcers were surprised by the play or simply surprised to learn that there was a game in progress.

Nice win for the Stros.  Another milestone hit for Craig.  Now he needs to get hit twice.  Houston is now just 2 games behind the Reds for 4th place.

Yes.  He took a terrible route to the ball.  Not running smoothly at all.  Then the dive.  A good outfielder would have had it.
