Tim Redding pitched 7 strong last night, giving up 1 run for the nats vs the thirdnals and lowered his ERA to under 3.00.
Tim Redding- sub 3.00 era. This weeks sign of the apacolyps.

Ahem, the Astros gave him every chance. He got rid of himself. I used to talk to him alot when he played for New Orleans. Tim was his own worst enemy. He was battling in his mind.

I think he may have been tipping his pitches over the last few years.

As with some of your posts, I just wasn't sure.

Speaking of former Astros, I saw our old friend Mike Gallo pitch for the Oklahoma Skysox against the Express Friday night. OK had a 7 - 1 lead going into the bottom of the ninth. I was telling the guy sitting next to me that this is going to be interesting. Gallo proceeded to give up 2 home runs back to back. He was able to settle down and finish out the game but it reminded me of vintage Gallo.

Except in Colorado Springs (http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/index.jsp?sid=t551).

If anything I am a lackey for the front office. You will never see me making a post condemning them for having done something stupid (I don't think there are idiots in the FO like some seem to think). I may disagree with them, but I know they've got their reasons and I generally endeavor to try to understand them.

He thinks he was telepathically transmitting his pitches to the hitters, which is why he spent hours on the mound trying to clear his mind.

Larry Walker retired and Mike Gallo became a minor league pitcher. Coincidence?
