Title: Friars @ Astronauts
Post by: BossierNaut on July 26, 2007, 07:29:24 pm
I can't believe I came here and found no thread.

I am no pbp guy what with having a 2 year old...but I may come back for some color ...  <  har de har>

My first color piece is Wandy got by Spicoli in a tenuous moment in the top...and Carlos went DOD followed by Strike Looking and everyone is happy for the moment....

Oh yes...3-1 Astros 1 out in bottom of first

Back to back jacks... nice way to erase an early deficit.

Trade Morgan!  I'm pretty sure the homer will mark the high water point of his value.

I don't think Wells realized all he had to do was throw one down the middle to Mo there.

It's not heaven, it's New Orleans.  Could only be better if they had the sound on.

In the continuing oddity that is this game the Astros now lead 6-1 going to the third.

Check your boxscores...

I don't recognize this team but I am enjoying watching them...

and the Jessica thing is also working...

Bidge needs to announce his retirement every week just to keep this going.  Impending oldman-itude seems to be agreeing with him.

Astros showing some chops from that long past but warmly remembered series against the Angels and Mariners earlier this year..

Except with D this time..and smarts...

..and the time-warped lineup...

mind you..

this could be the night Jason Lane hits a five-run homer....

...In a highly improbable display of baseball competence...

Your Houston Astros put a beat-down on the Padres in the first of four...7-1

,,,weird streak of 8-2 to follow,,,  (then what?)

BBG's ...we adore you....
