Bonds hit HR #745 on May 8th. He didn't hit three more until June 17th.
How quickly does the country think Bonds will take to hit three more now to get to #756? Everyone was like "he was sitting in Milwaukee so he wouldn't do it there!". I think some people out there have unreasonable expectations, and they are going to be disappointed when he doesn't hit #756 on this homestand.

if bonds dont ever hit another homer trust me it wont affect me in any way

Have it your way. I, on the other hand, will be positively ecstatic if it works out that way. Couldn't happen to a better guy.

I heard a guy tell Tom Franklin on the 10th Inning Show last night that he hopes Bonds hits that record-breaking homer, then immediately suffers some kind of season-ending injury so he can't go any further because he's sick of hearing Bonds this, Bonds that.

"Can we pin this one on The Dane?"

Dane Cook *does* suck... it probably is his fault.
Speaking of which... why the hell is he doing MLB's playoff promos?

I like this better,
according to the New York Daily News, the Grand Jury (investigating perjury charges against Bonds) got themselves six more months to look at the case against Barry and that supposedly they have a pretty good case against him. The source in the story say that the Grand Jury has enough to go after Barry but wants at least six more months to make the case go from pretty strong to dead-to-rights strong. They are also afraid of making it look too political in handing down the indictment right around the time Barry is on the verge of breaking the big record.

And, in October, you can see what Barry got. (http://www.ktvu.com/balco/13741614/detail.html)
