I thought you had to work.

I thought you had to work.
I am at work, sending 8,000 cubic feet of water each second downstream by running two hydrogenerators at 25 megawatts each.
As the turbine turns. I'm making triple time today. Thanks, fellow taxpayers.

So we don't have to pay you for PBP?
-
So we don't have to pay you for PBP?
Not today. The PBP is all yours if you want it.
-
well, if you have comcast, JD and brownie are doing the game in spanish today.
-
What happened to giving Lamb at bats against lefties?
-
Two kids behind home plate, prime seats, spending all of their time text messaging, barely watching the game.
Such a waste.
-
Ryan Howard runs like a Welshman.

Mo is 3-6 against Hamels lifetime, all singles with 1 walk. Lamb has never faced him.

Ah okay playing the numbers. I'm just concerned that with Ensberg starting there won't be anyone to get a pinch hit walk late in the game.
-
Where?
just over the back off the RH batter.
Helms is killing us this series.
-
Everett in the booth now.
-
Who is that fat man and what has he done with Carlos Lee?
-
Everett in the booth now.
great--i have the spanish feed. maybe THEY could get Dickie Thon.
-
Everett in the booth now.
He just said "2 hole"
-
He just said "2 hole"
Huh huh huh

Breaking news:
Ensberg watched strike 1.
-
Breaking news:
Ensberg watched strike 1.
And strike 2.
-
Who is that fat man and what has he done with Carlos Lee?
He stole him and went to 2nd.
-
Who put the Tabasco in Carlos' Cheerios this morning??
-
Carlos got a little fire in him.
-
Who put the Tabasco in Carlos' Cheerios this morning??
Biggio must have performed the Hustle Ritual on him this morning.
-
It's nice to at least hear AE's voice if he can't be on the field; I miss him. He's pretty funny too.
-
Great play by Loretta and Sampson to catch the speed demon Bourn.
-
Biggio must have performed the Hustle Ritual on him this morning.
What's involved in that, I wonder? Infield dirt must have a part in it.
-
ok, why does ESPN news have breaking news as such:
Joey Chestnut wins and sets record. 66 hot dogs.
This is not a sport.
Entertaining? for some. But not a sport.
-
Munson goes Crawford.
-
Everett in the booth, along the lines of "In spring training, Loretta and I made a deal: if I taught him how to play shortstop again, he'd teach me how to hit."
I laughed.
-
Nice to see Victorino replacing Bourne's divits.
-
Everett in the booth, along the lines of "In spring training, Loretta and I made a deal: if I taught him how to play shortstop again, he'd teach me how to hit."
I laughed.
Everett also said Lee was a good baserunner.
I laughed.
-
Dadgumit, Berkman.
-
Everett also said Lee was a good baserunner.
I laughed.
Yeah he called him a "big boy".
-
That was lame, Twinkie.
-
Hunter went with that breaking pitch and hit it hard on the ground to the right side. Nice.
Then Berkman layed an egg with the bases juiced.
-
that ball was high
-
Lance Barksdale. Payback for last night.
-
Friday night's home plate ump was outstanding.
Yesterday's was god. freaking. awful.
This guy doesn't seem to be much better.

This guy doesn't seem to be much better.
This guy also thought Lee was safe last night.
-
By friday night, I meant monday night. Because today is Sunday. At least it feels like it.

I think Brownie even said it was Sunday earlier in the game when he mentioned Bidge having the day off today.
-
We need to just change independence day to the first Friday in July. It's not fun going to fireworks when you have to get up for work at 6am.

Party pooper.
-
Party pooper.
That would be Cole Hamels.
-
What the hell does Utley think he's arguing about?
-
What the hell does Utley think he's arguing about?
It was extremely close.
-
Easy there Chase.
-
shitfuck.
-
Crap.
-
Nice backup by Pence.
-
ugh
Ai'ght... see y'all tomorrow. Happy 4th!
-
Bleh. Tell us how those Round Rock Donuts are, McLemore.
-
I thought the HR derby was next week.
-
Looks like there's a new feature of all-star week: the "passed ball derby".
-
It lives! ...until Ensberg's at-bat...
-
Come on Mr Munson! Let's get something started.
-
Crap, that was close.
-
Loretta scored on Munson's sac fly. 8-2, just six more to go.
-
O.P. singled. 2 on 2 out with Biurke up. Inning probably over.
-
Nice job Opie. Keep the line moving Burke.
-
Burke just sucks.
-
Burke and Ensberg = Rally Killers
-
Burke just sucks.
Definitely not helping his chances of taking Bidge's job. Purp had better not fucking hand it to him.
-
Top of the inning finally over. Rookie coming up to bat. Go, kid.
-
pence finds the boxes for the 2nd day in a row
-
Shitfuck Carlos.
-
Pence must read the Talkzone
-
Really needed Lee to hit a HR there instead of ground into a DP.
-
Pence must read the Talkzone
Why's that? Did he get a new glove?
-
Why's that? Did he get a new glove?
Nah he just likes dead horse arguments about offense vs defense. He's sick I tell ya!
-
No sweep. Oh, well.
-
pence finds the boxes for the 2nd day in a row
And he hit the fowl pole the night before that.
-
pence finds the boxes for the 2nd day in a row
My tivo cut me off so I missed Pence's blast from the 4th of July. But his bomb the night before only landed in the boxes after it bounced off the wall. It was a good shot that is out of any park.
-
Everett also said Lee was a good baserunner.
I laughed.
i think he is, especially for a man that size. what he does not do is hustle.
-

Doesn't that detract from baserunning? He makes assumptions and runs accordingly. Which means that on the odd occasion when the fielder boots the play, he's not in a position to capitalise.
On the flip side, of all the current Astros I think that Lamb may have the best baseball instincts. He doesn't always have the talent to do what he's supposed to do, but he always has the right idea in mind even if he doesn't execute.

yes, it does, but he has good instincts. if he busted his ass, he would be very good.

Have you been reading my old report cards?
-

If he is on 2nd or 3rd and there is a flyball to the outfield, or a ground ball to the left side, he turns his entire body around and puts his head down to shuffle back to the bag. This has caused problems a few times because he is not watching the ball for a misplay, etc. He assumes it will be caught. The best example of this was the play where him and Scott motored around the bases a step apart, but there have been others.
He may be fast/quick for a man his size, but he doesn't run the bases well.
-

FIFY to represent Limey's report cards
