Here's the run down on the Whitesox from the Chicago Daily Herald after yesterdays loss to the Yankees,
10th loss in its last 12 games followed a hauntingly familiar script.
Bumbling offense? Check.
Imploding bullpen? Check.
Fumbling fielding? Check.

The last few weeks is the worst I've seen the White Sox play in a long time. The Astros are visiting at the right time and should easily win 2 of 3 if not sweep.

Yep and I also follow the White Sox, losers of 10 of the last 12 with a bullpen that can't throw strikes or keep runs off the board. At least the Astros games have been (heartwrenchingly) close.
If the Astros can beat anyone, it's these bunch of sad sacks.
Also, Dye and Crede (and Podsednik/Erstad) are out for this series.

We've heard this stuff since the series when the Rangers came into town. It ain't working. Same thing with the Reds, then the Jakes, then the Rockies... heck, the Astros haven't beat the Pirates yet, still many mediots keep repeating stuff like "They should take this series..."
