Title: Schilling with a Gem
Post by: SeanBergmanRules on June 07, 2007, 04:51:18 pm
Loses his no-hitter with two outs in the ninth.  I remember C-4 busting up a Mussina no-no in similiar fashion a few years back.  Would have been a perfect game, if not for an error by the notoriously defense minded Julio Lugo.

It would be interesting to see composite stats for the batter who comes up with two outs in the 9th with a no-no in progress over the last 50 years or so. He/they must be putting up Babe Ruth/Barry Bonds numbers...

Wasn't it Glenn Hubbard that broke up Scott's bid against ATL w/ 2 outs in the 9th? Long time ago.

You really think BBTN isn't gonna break the game down anyways?
