I have 2 tickets to tomorrow's game that I can't use because of the change in start time. Sec. 310.
Free to a good home. First PM gets them.
-
Fine, if free doesn't work let's start the bidding at $10.
Trust me, you people don't want to know how much am willing to pay for someone to take these off my hands.
(This is where I would add a smiley for the humor-impaired if this was that sort of place.)

Good grief. I know it’s short notice, but I never thought I’d see the day that I literally couldn’t give Astros tickets away.
Just in case there is any question, I’m completely serious about this. I can’t use these tickets. Neighbor kid’s birthday party or somesuch. If you have an email address (and since you post here, you must) I can forward them to you. You print them out, and take them to the ballpark.
I’m sleepy and goin’ to bed. Fuck it, if I wake up tomorrow and have no PMs, I’ll give them to whomever emails me at shererjt at that big Time-Warner-affiliated Internet thing.
Sorry to tie up your bandwith; I just hate seeing stuff like this go to waste.

Tickets finally gone.
Goin' to sleep, hoping to dream about Mike Scott's no-no, Randy Johnson in the '98 pennant drive, and Chris Burke's walk-off 18th inning dinger.

Well, gawd damn, good sir. Throw in a woman or two and that'd be a damn near perfect wet dream.
Itzaaha good!

From what I've seen, a lot of the regulars here (including myself) live a good 3+ hours away from Houston, and that surely contributed to your difficulty donating your tickets via this forum. I know it's hard for my wife and I to make a spur of the moment (even if it is 1 day's notice) trip down there for a game.

Oh, I know. I'd also been into the beer (Spaten Optimator) which didn't help things much. I should have been more patient.
Though it kind of annoys me that the person I sent the tickets to didn't even bother to send me an email saying "Hey, thanks!"
God, I'm turning into a grumpy old man.
-
That's pretty shitty... maybe they just haven't gotten around to emailing you yet. I know I'm always extremely grateful when I get free tickets.
-
I'd feel the same way.. I think you at least deserve a thanks for free tickets.

i had two tickets to the cavs/pistons game--took a brother there for his 30th. caught the astros score afterwards at a bar in downtown cleveland--what a nice evening.
