"The Astros didn't draft me because I'm Roger Clemens' son," he said in a recent interview at L.P. Frans Stadium in Hickory. "They drafted me because they thought I could be a good major league baseball player."
Maybe not but the Charlotte Observer wouldn't be interviewing you if you weren't a Clemens.
Assuming that he is not promoted by the Astros organization, Hickory fans will have a chance to see Clemens play again when the Legends visit L.P. Frans on June 5 and 6, and July 14, 15, and 16.
I think it is safe to buy tickets.

thanks for posting this.
I don't know why it never even occurred to me to monitor the schedule for times when Astros affiliates were playing nearby. I'm off to get tickets for that June 5th game now.... though not because i am eager to see Koby.

My take on Koby:
When he was in Greeneville - his bat was good, his fielding needed work and he handled being Roger's kid with pretty good maturity. I am pulling for him to do well but I tire from the "I am just a prospect, not getting any special treatment". He may not be asking for it but he is different from other prospects because of who his daddy is. That comes with good and bad. He is not the only kid going through this, Mattingly's kid had an interview on MILB the otherday. If he wasn't Maddinly's kid, he probably wouldn't have gotten that exposure.
