Although it's more than likely speculation, this comes from ESPN's rumor mill.

Apr 14 - Brad Lidge's days in Houston might be numbered. According to the Chicago Tribune, there reportedly have been trade talks between the Astros and Devil Rays.
Lidge fits the profile of high-end pitchers that Tampa Bay usually seeks. He's only 30 and could have a lot of good years ahead of him, possibly even as a starter.
Both the Astros and D-Rays appear to have plenty of movable parts. They also have an interesting connection, with former Houston GM Gerry Hunsicker working as a mentor for Tampa GM Andrew Friedman.

It's the exact same information from the St Petersburg article. See Link (http://www.orangewhoopass.com/forums/index.php?topic=101645.0) The only "new" article recently is from Tracy Ringolsby who says Lidge is a pawn in a power struggle between Purpura and Garner. Ortiz is suggesting Ringolsby got this "information" from Justice.

1) Like Jim said, it's neither new nor different; and 2) why bother linking to ESPN's home page and not the actual "story"?

Tough crowd. I hadn't read the articles. I just saw prav's post from the chat that it probably wouldn't happen. That was the different perspective I was speaking of. Although I did mention it was probably speculation.
Also the reason I linked ESPN is because I knew it was subscription material that alot of people probably couldn't go to but had been told in the past to at least do a link when using premium material.
Sorry for the confusion guys.

No problem. It just threw me off. I didn't see the story on the main page.

I hadn't been here for a while until lately. I had forgotten how tough you all were. My senses are back though.

That during-the-game running conversation was one of the funniest baseball moments of my entire life. I still snicker just thinking about it.
