Cantu hits a ball down the LF line, tries top stretch it to 2nd but El Caballo guns him down for the 2nd out, otherwise the Pads do nothing in the top half of the fourth. Cantu is slow.

I was looking forward to watching Wallace and Castro mature in their first full seasons of major league ball.  Kills me that Castro isn't around this season, but have really liked what I've seen from Wallace so far.  In fact, at times (okay a lot of the time) Wallace seems to be the most mature hitter on the team...

Wallace surely has a better feel for the strikezone than Hall-who has 17 K's in 50 AB's. Ouch.

I watch Inglett at the plate, and I think Jason Smith. I watch Hall at the plate, and I think Preston Wilson. I wish dudes would start hitting, as to vanquish those thoughts from my mind permanently...

Its actually my fault. When Furcal went down, I had to pick up a SS for a fantacrap team and picked up Mr. Sanchez. His 'slump' correlates directly with this move.  I'll remedy this later tonight.  Again, my bad, and my apologies...

To be fair, there was also a thread posted in the tz that no doubt caught the bbgs collective ear.

Was wondering that when I looked at Gameday myself, but figured it had to be an error. Checked Headrick's Twitter feed (OKC broadcaster) who had the lineup as follows:

@okcredhawks lineup: Shuck LF, Manzella SS, Bogusevic RF, Clemens 1B, Delome CF, Cancel C, Hernandez 3B, Vallejo 2B, Nieve P

Ed's batting about .500 on IF signings and acquisitions. For every Sanchez and Wallace there's a Hall or a Matsui or a Feliz. I guess that's how it goes when you don't have any money to spend. What's disturbing is that there is absolutely no one on the farm who is pressing for promotion. I mean, you have to look at single A ball and then you find a guy who's like four feet tall.
