Title: E-Gone
Post by: Limey on February 24, 2014, 12:12:14 pm
Harold Ramis, dies at age 69 (http://www.theguardian.com/film/2014/feb/24/harold-ramis-ghostbusters-groundhog-day-dies).

Besides his acting turns, he was the man with the pen or behind the lens for some of my favourite movies.

Cross the streams.

No, we're not homosexual, but we are willing to learn.

President Obama: (http://variety.com/2014/film/news/president-obama-on-harold-ramis-a-proud-product-of-chicagos-second-city-1201120117/)

“When we watched his movies – from ‘Animal House’ and ‘Caddyshack’ to ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Groundhog Day’ – we didn’t just laugh until it hurt. We questioned authority. We identified with the outsider. We rooted for the underdog.  And through it all, we never lost our faith in happy endings. Our thoughts and prayers are with Harold’s wife, Erica, his children and grandchildren, and all those who loved him, who quote his work with abandon, and who hope that he received total consciousness.”

So he's got that going for him.  RIP indeed.
