In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Was surprised that Disher got the boot.  Anyone hear anything on that?

Per Twitter, BA is reporting that the club has released Einertson and Sapp:

Quote
RT @eddymk: #Astros released C Max Sapp. First-round pick in '06 last played 8/11/08. Survived life-threatening bout w/ viral meningitis.

Quote
#Astros also cut OF Mitch Einertson, who was on restricted list after failing test for drug of abuse. 2004 Appy League MVP!

Good luck to both of them overcoming their battles.
