NLCS Game 1...Giants at Phillies...
« on: October 16, 2010, 07:27:36 pm »
Lincecum v. Halladay.  Maybe the pitching matchup of the century so far.  Anyone watching?

End of the 2nd, 0-0...Halladay perfect, Lincecum gave up a leadoff double to Howard to start the second, but got out with no other baserunners.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Looking like the #8 hitter matchup of the century so far.

Weird to see Lincecum give up well-hit shots and then for Halladay to get rung up. I love watching these two guys pitch.

Brian Wilson is one silly looking motherfucker.

Especially with that Just For Men beard of his.

It's shoe polish, according to the pundits.  Though I suspect it would be awful hard to see with shoe polish wafting in your eyes.

The only way he could look sillier would be if he wore a top hat on the mound.

I never thought of that, but it's a good one. He always reminded me of Wiley Wiggins in Dazed and Confused.

Brian Wilson is going for a particular look.  Popular in San Francisco, allegedly.
