Not terribly shocking. Average defensively and the only offensive success he had was while juiced.  They also resigned Jose Lopez (same link), and while he is not really a prospect, he will probably fill Lou's role in RR quite well.

Now reporting he has re-signed along with Brian Esposito, & Marcus Cabral.  Also of note in the transactions, Tim Torres who was released last year apparently latched on with the Marlins and was re-signed by them and Chad Reineke was granted free agency by the A's.
