The moral of the story is don't fucking run on Yan Gomes, although Altuve rolled over on an easy twin killing had Villar stayed at 1B.

Say what you will about the Yankees, they know how to do pomp and celebrations. This Mariano Rivera celebration they're doing right now is pretty spectacular.

CB Bucknor behind the dish today. There already have been some strange calls. The guy is fucking incompetent.

Bedard goes into suck mode in the bottom of the fourth, squandering a two run advantage and the lead. 3-2 now.

CB Bucknor's strike zone is schizophrenic.

The Tribe television guys are lampooning the Astros lack of prowess on the basepaths. They called Villar's mistake at 1B "boneheaded." Only we can call our guys boneheaded. Come on, Astros.

Justin Maxwell with a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the tenth to beat the Rangers. So we have that going for us.

If the Astros can take a couple off the Rangers I will not be bothered by laying down against Cleveland the last four games.

What was the point in pitching Bedard or Humber today?

Are you serious?

Yes, i'm serious. We know that neither pitcher factors into next season, so why give either of them any more lousy innings?

Actually, we clinched a tie yesterday. Any Miami win or Astros loss seals it.
