Not insider, but I believe they announced that a while back.

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Again...for those of us who don't/can't twitter...any details on what this is?
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

The right field upgrades, which will result in the removal of some second deck seats, will include what Ryan described as premium food and bar service and a staircase that will include standing room space, similar to the center field area that was renovated in 2018.

It was a notice saying you can email the Astros if you want to purchase seats that will be removed for the upcoming renovation that most of us haven't heard about.

Ooooh, "premium" food...like real cheese on the nachos?

For the people who otherwise would never go to a game unless they can get "good quality" food and mixed drinks at the ballpark. You know the kind of fan that has no idea of the standings and such. It's not about the game it's about the ballpark experience and bobble head dolls.

Astros Twitter was hoping they were taking out all the seats and replacing them with rainbow colors.

Rub it in, why don'tcha.

FWIW, I only saw that story because it showed in my Facebook feed as a suggested post a week or so ago. I don't even follow the Chron there.

They memorialized Yordan's upper deck shot,  and they dug up the Toy Cannon and Rooster seats! (I inquired about those a few days ago).

I remember when Wynn and Rader hit those prodigious HRs but I did not recall them being within a week of each other.

Eric Anthony's seat is there too.

Notice how much wider the old seat backs were.

As a proud owner of a pair of Dome seats, I’m often reminded at just how large and comfortable those seats were.

Right now they are in the garage. Mrs. Hawk doesn’t want them in the living room. If I get my man cave (at the house I’ve bought and paid for) they’ll go in there.

I use mine as guest chairs in my office.  People sit in them all the time and comment on how comfortable they are.

Mine are too, but they are coming in the house. Not sure where.

I'm extremely jealous guys.  I'm just finishing up my man cave and started searching the internet for some Dome seats.  Almost nothing out there.  Living in GA, there was just no good way to pick up seats years ago when they finally decided to sell them.  Enjoy guys, you are lucky to have them.

Yeah, when I retired I thought I wouldn't have a boss anymore.  Oh how wrong I was.
