USMNT v El Tri
« on: April 15, 2015, 08:13:56 pm »
I was watching the pre-game on FS1 and now it's darts? Found it on the Spanish channel but surely it's somewhere on an English channel too.  Anyone know where it might be on Uverse?

Oh - and the pitch is embarrassing.

Probably blacked out because the Spurs are playing. I'm only partly kidding.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

I don't think you'll find it. Rights dispute between FS1 and Uverse results in live programming often getting replaced with...darts.

I'm sort of half watching the game with the sound down. I've got the Astros on also and there are some local games I'm checking in on as well. I look over between at bats and I see the camera focused on a guy who is chanting something. I look in to try to read his lips to figure out what he's saying. For the longest time I can't make it out until at last I realize that he's chanting U-S-A! U-S-A!

Didn't know this -aggregating but is what it is.

Good to see 2-0 return.

I have Uverse and watched the game on 1697 which is the alternate channel for Root Sports Houston.

In Austin Uverse 1697 was the Astros game because 1758 (Root Sports main) was showing the "this game is blacked out" screen for the Rockets.

Same in DFW market on Uverse.

Darts?

Darts?
Who knew? It must be exhilarating to see in person.

Had the good fortune of getting a free ticket to the game and made the trip down to SA. Man, that place was rocking for a full 90 minutes. It was by far the most raucous atmosphere I have seen at the Alamodome, at least since Sean Elliot hit the Memorial Day Miracle 16 years ago.

Stopped at the mega-Buccee's in New Braunfels on the way home for some jerky and I think every Austinite in attendance was there at the same time... "Dos a Cero" and "USA" chants galore.
