Looks like Miggy will get one more chance for hit #200. Though not sure if that's such a big deal for someone who's already done it 2 or 3 times. He already has double #46, which I believe gives him the league lead.

I think it was a big deal to him. You could see his disappointment when Reed caught the liner to right. But Reed seemed to lose it in the sun for a second and it almost handcuffed him. But even if it had gotten by him the scorers would have probably called it an error.

The regular season excitement that is left is if the Twins can pull off the sweep against KC. Detroit has already won so if the Twins hang on there will be one more regular season game.

Not a great year on the field but alot of fun nonetheless. Maybe Miggy will sign on at less dough for next year and the pitching can be upgraded and we can see better results.

Seems like only a couple of months ago that I was ordering mole enchiladas at Spanish Flowers before heading over to MMP's right field mezzanine to join in the opening day viewing. Sometimes time seems to fly, regardless of whether or not you're having fun.
