MLB.TV and radio not working for any of the West Coast games right now (imagine that...).  Anyone care to throw in an inning recap or two until the MLB powers that be pull their collective heads out of their asses and fix the problem?

You'd think the astros would get that call with the throw not seeming to pull him off the bag and kepp being unprotected on his blind side with the baserunner sliding in.  Kepp did the right thing by clearing out quickly after making the catch.  Now it's going to cost the stros 3 runs.  F that guy

That call at 2B has really changed this inning.

Ground ball between short and third, Blum dives and stops it, turns and throws to second, Kepp takes the throw in time for the force, but the ump says that he pulled his toe off the bag early. That makes it bases loaded with 1 out instead of 1st and 3rd with two outs. Things went downhill from there.

Big toe. It was the same thing that happens a dozen times at first base during the course of a game, but it never gets called there.

Dallas Keuchel with 11 Ks to 1 walk (6 hits) through 8 tonight for the JetHawks, but is down 1-0 as the Lake Elsinore pitcher is throwing a perfecto through 8 (and no, the game is not in Lancaster).

Wow, wouldn't mind being in the stands for that one right now. Keuchel threw a 9-inning shutout last week, right? I've liked everything I've heard about him since he was drafted.

Threw 9 innings of shutout ball, but LAN lost in the 11th or 12th. 3.88 in the CAL (mainly because of an opening day stinker and another start) isn't anything to sneeze at for sure.

I see that two batters have tripled in Pence's direction this game. His fault, or the pitchers'?

All I saw was the last one, but it was a horrible hanging curve that got ripped to right. Pence's speed got him to the ball and he dived for it, but it went off his glove and past him for a triple. Can't really blame him for the meatball that was served up; probably fortunate it didn't end up in the seats.
