"Documented liar" is a little strong.  Morgan mixed together two factual events from his past, from over forty years ago.  It happens.  I would guess most people have done this a time or two, just sitting around reminiscing.

He is imprecise, perhaps.  Being a journalist (after a fashion), Morgan is open to accusations of being less than careful with the facts.

As for the rest of the article, any epithet against the steaming pile of crap that is ESPN and all its offshoots is fine by me.

Did he take the opportunity on 610 yesterday to punk on Biggio, again?  Buddy of mine from Chicago said he used to do the same thing on Sandberg.  Talk about insecure, huh?

Baseball Tonight seems to have become pretty crap, but it is fun to notice how much Fernando Vina and Eric Young both seem to love all 2nd basemen, and speak very reverentially about the best of them. Especially when they (Vina and EY) are on the show together. Sort of the opposite of Morgan, who, as Bill James put it, needs to get over himself.
