Did anyone expect this kind of performance from Chacon when the season opened? He's been a big surprise to me. Nice to see him stepping up when some of the other key arms are struggling or hurt.

Booing the home team is never acceptable. Booing the opposing team is rarely acceptable. That being said, I won't loose any sleep tonight knowing that Purpura is standing in the unemployment line. As Purpura once said about his struggling players, potential eventually has to manifest into positive results. And believe it or not, the folks who were evaluating Purpura's results are more qualified to do so than OWA's finest. *gasp*

Just got home from the game. Make no mistake about it, Carlos Lee makes Jr. and Manny look like Charlie Hustle, particularly on ground ball outs. I can see the Astros are taking on a much different attitude than we are used to, and I don't like it.
What a schalacking. Should have stayed home and watched Brokeback Mountain or something.
