Substitute Uncle Mike for Handsome Jake in that order and you probably have the LDS starting nine.

Doesn’t this little Fletcher twit know that JV is trying to get 300/3000 strikeouts, how dare he put that ball in play! I mean, do the Rangers and their fans really think this way? I hope the record books have an asterisk next to Minor’s 200 k. What a farce.

Astros will have home field advantage against any postseason opponent.
-
Oakland will host TB on Wednesday in the wildcard game.
-
This win clinched home field advantage for any and all Post Season series the Astros mayl play this year.

Not sure I want the Astros to face either of those teams.

Not sure I want the Astros to face either of those teams.
Those two teams are I think clearly more dangerous than either the Yankees or the Twins. Especially in a five game series.
I don't want to offend anyone, but I expect the divisional series to be the most challenging series they play if they end up playing more than the one.

They both do in a 5 game series. Bring your A-game or go home.

No fear. Just this.

Me too. This is going to go down as one of the historically great baseball teams. They've done it all year without drama, just sitting astride the league and dominating. They are a mill efficiently converting opposing payrolls into losses.

What was it they quoted in Astroball? Usually not more than a 60-40 split.
