great preview, JD. i have gotten to know Conor Jackson's dad and always hope Conor does well. not with the game on the line the next few days, though.

Nice preview.

Avoiding Webb and Owings in a 3-game series is a hell of a break.  Let's hope they take advantage of it.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

There's an extra backwards slash at the end of your link...it's causing a 404 error.

I had no problem viewing it.

Sorry.  How the heck did that get there?  I just did a copy/paste.

LaRussa slipped it in there, to throw off your linking game.

Good preview, you are 2-2.

Reading your take on the 2001 Series reminded me of the sign a Snake fan flashed at Chase Field.

"It takes more than 9 Yanks to beat our Johnson."
"Baseball is simply a better game without the DH. "
