Milos Call?
« on: October 20, 2005, 01:12:03 am »
never in the last 6 years was i disappointed to hear milo make a call.   Stuck in a hotel watching the game in Vegas.   Thought i would go out and celebrate if wee won, but now i just want to watch highlights and read about the game.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I agree.  I was wanting an instant classic.

Something about gathering at your fav watering hole and the Astros going to the world series, they just played it on sportscenter, and it was pretty anti-climactic, or I could just be really drunk.

It was anti-climactic, but so was the win. However, Game 5 was thrilling on the radio. Well, for awhile anyway. A lot of it was down to how the game played out. Had they taken it in Game 5, I would've been jumping around, totally freaking out. Tonight, I just kinda collapsed.

Come on guys, have some confidence.  Milo is simply saving his best stuff for the World Series clincher.  No need to get all worked up over a NL Pennant when there are bigger fish to fry.
