WHile I was without power this past week, I had a 17 lb. brisket I saved from the deep freeze. I begged, borrowed, and even stole ice to keep that well loved meat on ice (NTTAWWT).
I had a big chunk of an old oak tree come down around half way down the driveway during spring training. I hand cut it -- HAND CUT IT!!!! -- and now, today, that oak tree is slowly smoking that brisket for tonight.
There was a burned spot on the tree from the lightning strike. It looked, to me, like a star.
Don't know what that means, but....
