Bio on "El Pipo" Looks like the Nats are trotting out 35 year old reclamation project with some good stuff on the Phils tomorrow. Mid 90's fastball (looks to sit comfortably in the 94 range) and has a really nasty changeup and slider combo to go with it. He started off in the bullpen, but is now in the starting rotation. Believe it or not, he has been the Nats best pitcher in September and is really opening some eyes.
If this guy holds down the Phigting Phils, he will be this year's reciepient of the unofficial ALKIE MOOLA award. I'm calling it now!
