Grrr...not a good start.

Barely gets a piece and reaches.

And advances on the sac bunt.

Kind of early for a sac bunt...great play by Robbie though.

I suspect Martinez knows that scoring early is their best bet with Verlander on the bump.

Shit...
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Why the fuck did Verlander never go back to his fastball against Rendon?

There are many, many things to hate about Joe Buck.  Right now, the particular turd floating to the top of the bowl is his ridiculous, excited, rushed set-up of each pitch just as the pitcher is about to deliver.  He’s got plenty of time between pitches to set the picture, but he just rambles inanely about nonsense, and then suddenly turns into an auctioneer.

I fucking hate Joe Buck as much as I hate giving up first inning runs.
