I'm looking for tickets also.  It appears that they release tickets occasionally on the astros site but I can't get them in my cart before they are gone.  What's the best way to get them on the secondary market?  Craigslist (like playing Russian roulette), stubhub ($84 fee per ticket ouch), any other recommendations?

If you can’t get them through Astros.com or a friend, I would purchase them through Stubhub even though the fees are ridiculous.  Stubhub has a protection clause where you will either get working tickets or your money back.  99% of tickets being sold on Craigslist are either fake, or the person doesn’t even have tickets.  Also, make sure you use a credit card to pay.  That way if the tickets end up fake or nonexistent, you can dispute the charge and get your money back.

I speak from experience, as I was scammed out of $1600 for two World Series tickets in 2017 because I didn’t want to pay the enormous Stubhub fees.

I got my game 1 single on StubHub. 20% fee but I have waited too long for this chance.

StubHub may be expensive, but it is safe.

Thank you Gordon Lakey.

I've used tickpick.com several times.  They're upfront about fees at least.

I was able to get one on Astros.com. It’s in 410 game 1 for less than $300. But at least I will be there.  I will also be by myself so if any of you meet up before the game let me know.

I only have tickets if it goes to 7 games.

I'd just as soon I didn't get to go.

In 2005, I had game 5 tickets. That stung me until I was able to get tickets last year to an earlier game. This year, I can only go to game 1 and/or 2 because we leave for Cabo next Monday.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that bud.

Yeah, it was an embarrassing and unpleasant walk back to the car when my wife and I tried to get in to Game 3 with the tickets I purchased that afternoon, only to find out they were fake.  A very expensive lesson indeed.
