Acuna still has a few things to learn about baserunning.
He is 21 and has $100,000,000.00 guaranteed. He probably doesn't think he needs to learn anything.
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

The fucker who is not to be named is the bench coach for the Braves?? Go Shitbirds!!

Man, when I heard his name on the TV I started grumbling incoherently.  When my family showed some concern I had to verbally relive the 1999 NLDS to explain my hatred for a man I've never met.

Strasburg is dealing in L.A. Perfect through four.
He breezed him, one more time!

In spite of the idiocy of intentionally walking the tying run, the Dodgers leave the bases loaded and the Nats get out of L.A. with a 4-2 win and the split.

I thought Bellinger would have been the one to pitch around, but you can't argue with the result.

I need, NEED the Nats to win this series.  And the next.  Need them to.
Another trenchant comment by a jealous lesser intellect.

Exciting moment in this pitchers duel. Bases full of Braves with two outs, they're down one nill. Andrew Miller relieving Wainwright to face Freddie Freeman.

And Freeman very undramatically flies out to center on the second pitch.

Love to watch a team try to win a 1-0 game in the postseason.

I guess it made sense to walk McCann, but it sure backfired big time.

Cards demonstrate what *could* have happened in the 9th last night.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

I don't give a shit about what anyone says, but Wainright is a bulldog money pitcher. 38. Marginal stuff. In the playoffs? Nails. He should sue his offense for non-support.

But did not.

Freeman with a high school mistake at 1B just cost the Braves a chance to end the 9th in St Louis.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Molina with a 2-out bloop single ties it in the 8th then wins it in the 10th with a sac fly. Braves and Cardinals will go the distance.

Yep. That error should be his, not the RF’s.
