The only thing I know about the show is that apparently there is a Starbucks on every corner both in reality and fiction.

There's two, at the end of the universe.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

My biggest gripe was Surprise! Euron and his Invisible Fleet once again resetting the gamepieces out of nowhere.

His character should be renamed to plot device.

My father points out there were at one time three at that intersection (there's one in the B&N there).

See, that’s the funny thing. I’ve been all on board until now and found that episode almost completely irredeemable.

Lots about the show is silly, but the Jon Snow dilemma is interesting to me.

So last week, Daenerys's fleet can't see the Iron Fleet right on their flank and the scorpion crossbows take down a dragon from long range.  This week, the entire King's Landing forces never, I dunno, turned around? and not one of about 40+ scorpions can't land a single hit in CQB.

The sheer amount of deus ex machina being employed in wrapping up this series is maddening.

Like the Battle of Winterfell, another technical masterpiece depicting shitty storytelling.

I suppose the difference is the power of the element of surprise + Rheagal being seriously injured before hand.

But yeah, that was a lot easier than it should have been and/or it is so stupid that they didn't take out the Lannister forces (while not massacring everyone) back when they had three dragons. I guess that is Dany's whole point. The mad queen bit was certainly telegraphed but it felt very reductive in execution.

The Goldon Company being a popcorn fart and Euron's dispatch were both funny to me. The whole Jaime character arc was thoroughly abused in the last episode and a quarter.

That two days she wouldn’t eat or talk to anyone? (You know, like Varys told us right before Tyrion just waltzed in to start a conversation?)

She was playing Dragon Flight Simulator the whole time.

With the unlimited ammo cheat. Seriously, how much fire can one dragon breathe? Don't they have to catch their breath and reload at some point?

Well, it's over.

People are talking about spin-offs right?

Anyway, I thought it wrapped up about as well as it could.

There's a long night prequel that is happening and a few others being written.

I would like a blackfyre rebellion series, would be fun.

The only thing I'm gonna say about the ending is, I can't wait to hopefully, some day, read the real ending.

Here's my review:

Shit sandwich.

At least they cured me from wanting to watch Seasons 5-8.  That's time I never would have gotten back.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Lost's ending was more sensical and satisfying.

So as I posted, I run a GO TDeathpool.  One of the bonus questions was “Who wins the Iron Throne”

Curious to hear what y’all thoughts are to the answer to that.  Nobody is an option.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
