Google tells me that he'll be in a cast for a month minimum.

From an article I read this morn:
https://www.mlb.com/news/impact-of-corey-kluber-s-injury-on-indians
Blue Jays prospect Nate Pearson suffered a similar injury last May and missed the remainder of the season. He was throwing live BP by August.

Kluber took a 102 mph liner to the forearm; fractured ulna.

Remove him from the trade want list.

Who is on it? Stroganoff? Madbum?  Who else? Must be a frontline starter.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Stroganoff

Not sure if autocorrect or on purpose, but I'm a fan.

It's settled.   We need him, and his name will be Stroganoff.

Autocorrect for Stroman. Too funny!

Are you sure it's not your pick for an early bird lunch?

Madbum would be great and being a lefty fits. Stroman would be my choice if I had one. I just love the way the guy plays. Robbie Ray would still be on my list. Aaron Sanchez has been really good to start the year for Toronto but he has had some major injury issues in his past. Arizona would have to eat quite a bit of the money but Zack Greinke would be pretty great.

But he’s certainly not beefy.

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Why would anyone trade a good pitcher at this point in the season?

Luhnow’s Jedi mind tricks will get us MadBum and international pool money for White. Tomorrow.

Wouldn't you give up more for five months of a Stroganoff or MadBum than for two?

Maybe, but those teams still have to play games and none them are so terrible to write the whole season off.

Not saying they would. No one has given up yet, but reality may be creeping in.

What is the status on Diaz and his hamstring? White is at first tonight with Yuli at second.

Well, that's better than the other way around, I suppose.

I think Diaz is "day to day". Which means he'll be back after the All Star break.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.
