Kevin Comer, who spent 6 years in the org and last year pitched at AAA in the Tigers system, signed a minor league deal with the Twins.

Lefty Chris Nunn, who pitched in 15 games for CC and Fresno last year before getting released, was signed by the Rangers after a video went viral on twitter showing him throwing 97-99 in a workout. He's apparently pain-free after a left hip problem affected his mechanics for several years. Nice story.

C Roberto Pena, 7th rounder (2010) and most recently with the Rays organization, signed a minor league deal with the Angels and receives a ST invite to big league camp.

Daz Cameron outplayed incumbent Jacoby Jones with an impressive .360/.448/.720 spring but will still start the year at AAA Toledo (where he finished 2018 playing in 15 games).

Good story in the local paper about former farmhand Gilberto Celistino.   He got sent to Minnesota in the Ryan Pressley trade last year.

Jacob Nix, who had agreed terms with the Astros in 2014 then did not sign due to the Aiken kerfluffle, is now with the Padres in the AFL.

Well, he may not be with the Padres much longer after a homeowner tazed Nix breaking in through his doggie door:
