Lots of great no-hitter history and videos on At Bat now. In the article on dominant no-hitters is video of Randy Johnson’s perfect game. Probably you noticed Luis Gonzalez (sp?) in LF, Steve Finley in CF, and, of course, Johnson on the mound. Did you also notice Alex Cintron playing SS?

Also, Johnson's mound opponent that day was Mike Hampton, who threw a complete game loss for the Braves.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Tyler is done for the year:
"Los Angeles Dodgers transferred 1B Tyler White from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list. Right trapezius strain."
Nothing worthwhile comes without pain, ask any Astros fan.

Self-flagellator nearly traded to Yankees:

Another reliever? How many do they need? Nine for each game?

Glad Giles was in Toronto to pitch to Toro.

You can't spell Toronto without Toro.

Cool moment.

Especially since Brian Moran's contract had just been purchased.

In his 10th year in pro ball.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

Last night Craig and Cavan Biggio joined Gary and Daryle Ward as the only father-son duos to hit for a cycle in major league history.

I read that this morning and all I could think was "how on earth did Daryle Ward ever get a triple?"

Wasn't that triple the impetus to the Jim Edmonds sexy bitch post?

I was maybe too subtle with my link.

I owe you an apology: I didn't follow the link. Now that I have gone back and taken a look, I realize that was a grave error on my part. And I thank you, because over the years I had lost track of where the "sexy, sexy bitch" bit came from, and you have hand-delivered it to me.
