Talented director whose trifecta (Big/Awakenings/A League of Their Own) in the late 80/early 90s is hard to beat.
Joe Posnanski with an ode to one of my favorite baseball flicks.

Squiggy is a baseball scout??? I may have known that at one time but I had certainly forgotten it...

Awakenings is one of my favorite movies.
