I wish Beltran was around right now.

STFU, Alex.

I didn't hear about anything until I read this post.  Then I went looking for it.  He really does need to shut up.  That's just stupid.

AJ had a good public comment.

I hope the private comment was closer to yours.

I had someone at work ask me about it.  He needs to calm down!

I thought the same thing. Pearce fired back today.

Pearce took the bait. Eovaldi did not.

Are you calling Bregman a master baiter?

I still have no idea what this is about.  Anybody want to clue me in?  Been out dealing with flooding since last night.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

Pearce took the bait. Eovaldi did not.

He also hit the game winner out. That is the way to answer cocky preening.

The Red Sox respond to Bregman’s trolling in Game #%

There is nothing good that can come from this.

They played it cool during the series, but they did respond eventually.

Was it a coincidence that Eovaldi was brought in to finish the 7th and ensure that he would  face Bregman one last time in the 8th.

Bet he savored the K....  Apparently his teammates did.

He throws 100 mph.

That was Cora's only concern.

There may have been more.....
Eovaldi's 100 MPH is even more impressive because he is one of only 32 ML pitchers that have had TJS twice.

I've long held this feeling that Eovaldi ends up an Astro. Maybe it's just his Alvin roots.

Wow!
That would surely meet a need for the Astros and provide some family time for Eovaldi, but the irony and symmetry would be huge.
