AL Wild Card

The pregame chit-chat has started on ESPN. And who are they talking about??? …  Jeter, of course. So what about the that alternate channel I heard about?

I thought it was going to be on TBS. I’d try there.

I’m glad we have a GameZone-ish thread for this game like the NL thread from last night. Makes watching the game that much more enjoyable.

Is there a single Astros fan out there that would prefer the Yankees to win over the A’s?  Even one?

This is a craptastic start.  Why start a guy with a 4+ ERA in a win or go home game? Terrible decision imo

It was extremely satisfying to watch the Astros beat the Yankees last year. I'm not sure the A's would be the same.

Fiers or Edwin Jackson were the other options I think.

That's bizarre. I'm in NC but am watching on Roku's TBS app. Your friend is saying it's blacked out on cable?

Yeah, you have to actually get the channel and turn your TV to that channel to watch the game.  You can also watch it on MLB.TV, but again, you have to actually get TBS on your cable or satellite package.

Excuse me double for Judge to leadoff the 6th.

Initial bounce was 6 inches foul but it corkscrewed fair over the bag.

And he's promptly doubled home.

3-0.

Still built to win at home.  I think last year they won all their post-season games at home and lost all of them on the road.

Yep, questionable starting pitcher, wasted opportunities in the middle of the game, and Treinen waiting until this game to not be Treinen-like.

Good news: Yankees-Redsox for a maximum of 5 games.
Bad news: Yankees-Redsox for up to 5 games.

And if, BBGs willing, the Astros play beyond the LDS, an arduous task only achievable by hard work AND the grace of the BBGs, they will have to play one of them.

Well, despite 5 hits and 5 walks, you went 0 fer 6 w/RISP and 13 punch outs.  How'd that work out for you?
