I'm drinking Zafra rum from Panama tonight.  Black beans and yellow rice for supper.  Hoping that does the trick.

I'm going continental: been simmering a beef burgundy this afternoon. California Pinot Noir to accompany it.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

This would be a good game for Correa to start smacking the ball around the yard.

Article in the Chronicle today about his slump.   He says he picked up some bad habits when he had his oblique injury.   Also mention of pitch recognition.

None of it was very convincing.

White...works the count full...walks
McCann...full count...strikes out looking

Fuck.  Astros leave the bases loaded...again...lead 2-0

Ah, ok.  Sounded like you were questioning whether or not I was correct.

First pitch he squared around and took a curve.

Thought maybe he was taking all the way,  just showed bunt to jack with the defense.

Nope. He channeled his inner Craig Reynolds and bunted.

Bottom 4

Reddick lines out sharply to 2nd
Springer insides/out a single to right
Altuve goes 1-0 and my ATT Sportsnet app shuts down. Gameday tells me he sickies moving George to 3rd
Bregman grounds out 5-3 as my app fires back up, Springer to 2nd
Gonzalez lines a ball over RFers head,  Springer/Altuve score
Yuli up with Marwin on 1st, shoots aball in the gaping hole on the right side as Marwin was running,  RF whiffs on the scoop,  Marwin scores, Yuli to 3rd on the 2 base error
Godley relieved by Sherfy (RHP)
Correa grounds out 6-3

End 4

Bottom 6

Springer gets an infield single on a chopper to 3rd
Altuve nearly hit 1-0, 2-0, then he is hit (barely),  Springer to 2nd
Shelfy removed by Godfather character Silvino Bracho (RHP)
Bregman hits it back up the box,  off Bracho who recovers only to hurl the ball into the dugout fence,  Springer scores, Altuve to 3rd, Bregman into 2nd
Gonzalez eschews the bunt,  goes 0-2, Ks on high cheese
Gurriel likewise goes 0-2, 1-2, 2-2, lines a ball that leaves a vapor trail straight up the middle,  both runners score
Correa bats with Yuli on 1st, Ks looking
White 2-0, pops out F3

End 6

Great situational hitting there by Altuve.

Great situational hitting there by Altuve.

Baggy pointed out earlier that Jose’s knee issues were causing him to pull down the line a lot. Worked well here.

Gonzalez down quickly 0-2, Ks swinging

Go an inning without giving up a homer, then think about strutting.

Getting out of an inning without giving up the lead is worth a half-strut.

Springer 4 for 5, Altuve 2 for 3.

Those 2 guys on an upswing would be welcome.

And Morton was CFM.

Plus Yuli with 2 run producing hits.

That line drive up the box broke the sound barrier.

Sorry, HH, you're going to have to keep drinking the Zafra.

Shitfuck.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.
