Four hits against Dallas exceeded an exit velocity of 101 in the top of the 1st, probably because of the shift.

Gattis missed a 3 run homer by a couple feet and settles for a double that drives in 2.

Keuchel pitches now have the movement that was absent in the first. Easy peasy 1-2-3 inning.

It's a fuckin' mystery.

Please, let there be a nagging back or neck issue that will benefit from some DL time.

Because otherwise he seems like the type of mess that won't get sorted out this season.

Bases loaded, he charged in to try and get the DP and bobbled the scoop. All safe.

I was way wrong when I thought he was a homeless man's Altuve.
He is, at the very least, a middle-class homebuyer's Altuve.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

He guessed breaking ball after two fastballs. He guessed right.

The home run was a fastball. Same as the first two.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Yep. Meat just didn’t get it high enough. Bregman handled that for him.

Four hits against Dallas exceeded an exit velocity of 101 in the top of the 1st, probably because of the shift.

Catcher was set up inside, where the first two were,  but it was out over the plate. You could see Maile drop his head. Tepera not only missed his spot, he practically hit the bat with the pitch.

Ok, I misunderstood his interview then.

That'll do, Alex. That'll do.
Indeed!

Enjoyed the A. J. Hinch bear hug of Bregman around 3:06:50.

Looked like a Dad hugging a son.

That was a fastball. He just got it too low. Bregman said he had to get on top of the ball, and he raised his hands on the pitch.
