You've got to think that free agents are watching what has happened with McHugh and Morton and Peacock and Cole (and even Verlander) and are paying attention.

And I'm really glad to see him send a message to Mazara and the Rangers after Springer and Correa got hit.

Yeah, apparently Charlie is as tired of the Rangers' bullshit as we are. Thing is, he can actually do something about it.

Even the rangers broadcast (Grieve) stated that if you pitch inside and hit 2 players,  expect something in return.  Intent does not matter.

If you were going to throw at someone to send a message, he would be my pick.

If anyone is contemplating CBC for fast cash against a structured settlement, please PM. I will give you a better deal in an earnest effort to put them out of business so I never have to watch this abomination of a rap duet ever again.

Ha. Like I tell my wife every time she brings up something about the royal family:

We fought 2 wars so we wouldn't have to pay attention to those people.

Quote
After several attempts to get him to talk about his big night, he was finally asked if he was even happy about his performance.

''No,'' he said simply. ''I try not to get too far ahead of myself and I try not to let outings dictate how I feel about myself because I think that's a way to get in trouble. If you let a bad outing get to you too much or you let a good outing get to you too much it's not a good thing. So I'll do what I normally do and prepare for the next start.''

Morton struck out 14 and walked 0 while dealing with the distraction of how, when and to whom he would deliver thee Astro's response to Banister's campaign to maim the top of their lineup.
