Apparently there are no more right handed pitchers in baseball

The team seems to have emphasized a 'go with the pitch ' mentality this series.

Is the Astros.com in-market video working for anyone?  It just gives me the old 404 Not Found which is probably just the same as watching the Astros offense anyway.

Altuve walks
Correa...fouls one off his knee...not good...stays in the game...lines one off the face of Gonzalez...infield single...Altuve to 2B...Gonzalez ok
Gattis check swing...grounds into triple play...Altuve out 5U at 3B, Correa out 5-4 at 2B, but Gattis inexplicably leaves 1B, thinking he was somehow out and is tagged out for the third out of the inning.

Wow

At first I thought the first bunt hit him it out of the box.

So lost he can't even bunt when the sac is a given.

Two foul bunts and a wild swing and a miss.

But Gonzalez out for Altavilla.  Righty.

So, I just signed up to volunteer to hand out replica rings on June 20th.  I should be able to get one! and hopefully a ticket to the game!  Score one for me.

Stassi is better than I expected.

He's a much, much better catcher than I thought he was (admittedly I hadn't watched him much prior to this year), and he's not a waste at the plate either.

So, I just signed up to volunteer to hand out replica rings on June 20th.  I should be able to get one! and hopefully a ticket to the game!  Score one for me.
If you happen to stumble upon an extra ring or three, Ty and Jim want one. Me too, I guess.

Morton cruises through the 7th despite an end of the bat single.

Altuve leads off with an 0-2 single up the middle.

Gattis just doesn’t want to run the bases.

Correa walks.

Gattis knocks in Altuve on a grounder down the RF line.  Gets thrown out trying to stretch it to a double.

And if you would send a hand full overseas too, that would be cool.

and that'll do it.  Peacock freezes Romaine with a fastball down the middle.

9-2 Astros.

2.26 rotation ERA after today if my math is right (second only to Boston).

I think maybe A J is wanting to see what he has in a couple of pitchers with this much of a lead.

This is part of the problem with carrying so many pitchers on this team. There may not be enough innings to keep them sharp. McHugh pitched last night for the first time in over a week. When did Giles last pitch?  Hard to get everyone work. Meanwhile, your best right handed outfielder, other than Springer, Is allergic to contact.

Giles has been dealing with back pain.  He last pitched in Arlington.
