A get ahead fastball on the first pitch of the game, and a 2-strike hanger after a 2-out walk.  Shitfuck.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Rich Hill is definitely hittable. In spite of tonight's feeble offensive showing, I'm somewhat optimistic about tomorrow's matchup.

Keuchel was good, Kershaw was better. Sucks but nothing you can do about it

Chris Taylor was the difference.  He had three good at bats off Keuchel.  Homer, lineout, walk(that preceded Turner’s two run bomb)

If they didn't have the extra World Series commercials, that could've been under 2 hours.

Time to hit the rack and get some rest before heading down 101 bright and early.  Verlander on the bump. Can't wait.

Even my wife who does not watch baseball commented that was the shortest game she's been aware of.

The Dodgers bullpen outside of Jansen is hittable, too.  They are in a good groove right now, but the crap Smoltz was spewing about the game being over if the Dodgers are ahead after six innings is hogwash.

I hate the Dodgers.
And she turned around and took me by the hand and said, I've lost control again. And how I'll never know just why or understand. She said I've lost control again.

Except for tonight.

Did our scouting report say Kershaw cannot throw FBs for strikes? We took SO many.

It hurts the soul to punt away a winnable game like that tonight.

The bats need to wake up and be the Astros bats again. That is the only way this team wins.

Not all on him by any stretch,  but I cannot recall being more frustrated by a player I really like more than I am with Springer.

Hopefully after seeing Kershaw they'll have success against a lesser lefty.  I wonder if Hill will be tempted to use his fastball more after Kershaw's success with it, rather than relying as heavily on his curve as he usually does.

MoBerg is up there,  but I always assumed there was a mental block he couldn't get through.

I swear HPU called it a strike because Altuve took off towards 1st.

I've never understood why hitters do this.  It's probably not affecting anything, but you're sure as hell not going to influence the call in your favor and there are some enormous egos in the umpiring fraternity.

I dreamed last night that Verlander pitched a 10-inning complete game victory and the Astros won 1-0.  I'm hoping for certain subsets of that dream.
