Top of 3

Frazier,   foul,  ball high, strike swinging, foul, pop fly to Springer in short left..  1 out
Headley, curve for a strike,  single to center..
Gardner,  first pitch fly out to Marwin.  2 out
Judge, strike at 97, swinging strike on the curve, slider gets him!   3 out!

0 - 0

Verlander at like 35 pitches through three.

Completely, and totally overmatched.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Settle the hell down.
He laid off two much closer pitches to get ball one and two.

Top 4,

Gregorious,  Strike swinging, popped straight up to Altive, 1 out
Sanchez, strike, strike at the upper, outside corner,  curve fouled, ball outside, grounder to Verlander.  3-1, 2 out
Brid, called a ball but was clearly a strike,  changeup for a strike,  foul  just out of bounds, ball outside,  strike out swinging on off speed,   3 out

If there is portion of the lineup to the madness,  this is it.

Josh got screwed on 2 strike calls his first time up.  Let's see what happens if he isn't thrown behind in the count.

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.
