Kid in an Altuve shirt won some cupcakes in the cake walk at the school Halloween thing.

Good omen.

Beauty of a twin killing.  The pitch, the glove, and the turn were all awesome.

If there is one guy in he team who is not going to let that sort of thing bother him, it is absolutely Verlander.

Little leadoff slap hit makes my gut go "yelp". Verlander tells my gut to "shut the fuck up" with a quick double play.
He breezed him, one more time!

WTF, blue?!
That "strike" 1 was 6 inches above the letters

Strike 2 was also a ball.

Bottom of the first..

Springer, ball, ball, strike swinging,  grounds 5-3, 1 out
Reddick,  called strike above the zone,  curve for a strike on the outside corner, ball high,  golfed into lcf, 2 out
Altuve, foul, strike swinging at a slider, ball down, grounds out 6-3, 3 outs.

0 -0 after 1.

Those pitches to Reddick weren't even close!

Springer and Altuve both looked like they were swinging to be heroes. Hopefully they can shorten things up and chill out.

I thought the second 'strike' was about 50 - 50 which means the mf yanks get the call.
